In mid-September 2007, we completed a job in California working on a fisher (Martes pennantii) project. Our primary duties included a combination of live trapping and radio telemetry. Fishers are fascinating animals and we enjoyed the opportunity to study them. We lived in a Forest Service camp in the Sierras near the town of Shaver Lake.
