Texas Parks and Wildlife just hosted their 14th tracker evaluation at the Chaparral Wildlife Mgmt Area, May 16-17th, 2011.
We saw the tracks of 32 species, including 17 mammals, 7 birds, 3 herps, and 5 invertebrates. Some of the highlights were badger and tarantula tracks, as well as the tracks of a bobcat. More than 130 TPWD employees have now gone through the certification. Thanks to George Leoniak for co-evaluating.
